Our Story

 

Hi, I'm Nellie! It's wonderful to meet you.

The Good Soil Rooted was inspired by Luke 8:15 : "The good soil represents the hearts of those who gladly listen, who sink their roots deep into the word and hold on to it. These people endure and produce a large harvest of spiritual fruit."

Not too long ago I was running a small stationery shop featuring original quotes and poetry. I also offered some faith based products as well but not as a main focus. However, as my desire to grow in the Lord deepened, it was pressed on my heart to use my gifts fully for the Lord. The decision was made to close the door on that particular journey and pray for God to use me. 

With that said, The Good Soil Rooted took form. The gifts that God has given me are far better put to use in furthering His kingdom than anything else.
